Ambre!

We have a lovely new wwoofer, Ambre is from France, she arrived last night and today has been such an amazing help.

I suddenly realised this morning that i had to get a bisque kiln on...today!!!  Along with putting handles on mugs, cups and other dishes...and to get to Baddeck for a much needed massage - seemed a bit impossible!  So Ambre cleaned all the greenware and when i came home and after a bit of a rest, i loaded the kiln!!

The massage was rather brutal....it had been over 6 weeks since my last one and my poor body was tighter than a .... well you know what!!!

Now it's time for a beer and start to get dinner ready. 

It's so interesting trying to communicate with someone whose first language is something other than English and i have no French!   Ambre is trying very hard to learn English and she is actually very good....but there are times when we have to go back and forth to figure out what is meaning....so interesting and also so challenging to try and figure it all out!   Really wonderful actually!
