While you were sleeping

This is what you missed! A glorious sunrise over Lilly Pond.

The morning sky can be so spectacular, yet so brief, when you go out to get a photo of it! You almost have to aniticipate what it will be before you go. Sometimes I've run out the door thinking the sunrise will be beautiful, and it's a dud! Today, though, I was not disappointed. The little hint of pink on the clouds quickly turned into a fantastic glow of orange and yellow as the sun was about to rise. Within a few minutes, it was gone!
