Wild Flower Meadow

There was an item on the local news last night about a farmer who has retired and planted a couple of meadows with wild flowers as a gesture towards our pollinators. I did a bit of research to establish where it was and headed in the Plymouth/South Hams direction to see them. I thought I'd failed but carried on up the lane and saw someone to ask. It turned out that she and her son were there to photograph them too. They could be seen from the next gateway. 

She said she thought the item was filmed a few weeks before and the flowers were now past the glorious condition that was shown on the TV. They still looked pretty spectacular once the sun came out and lit them up. I've added a panorama of the meadow edge as an extra.
