Awesome Nature

This is the life. Feet up in our antigravity chairs, a slight breeze keeping us cool, a friendly cardinal chirping to the beat of our radio, dozing off for a nap. My tummy was upset this morning and I worried it was going to be a bad day. But that was foolish. Now I think it was just a high acid content in the new coffee we made. Our coffee machine usually grinds the perfect amount of our Mystic Monks beans every day. Not able to do that here, we bought already ground coffee and it turned out very strong. Hubby let me rest after breakfast and went shopping for milk, bottled water, things we prefer to get after arriving. We noticed puddles so it must have rained lately. I walked just around our little camp site and found all these mushrooms plus several I did not put in the collage. It is supposed to rain later in the week. If new ones pop up, you might be in for another such collage. The one in the bottom right photo is the coolest. Seek says it is a boletes. Our DIL provided wings for dinner so the rest of the day is ours. Thanks for dropping by. Enjoy your weekend. You might even want to go on a mushroom hunt. Stay safe. “The sudden appearance of mushrooms after a summer rain is one of the more impressive spectacles of the plant world”. - John Tyler Bonner
