Growing old disgracefully

By GOD

WEE STARS

Most years the buds on my tiny Magnolia Stellata are nipped by a late frost or eaten by bullfinches, but this year the flowers cover it like a galaxy of waxy pale pink stars. They don't last long, so for the next few days I will be using every excuse to linger in that part of the garden where the delicate scent of the magnolia is mingled with the heady hyacinth and peppery Narcissi Edgedin Gold.

I'm liking the latest Blip development, a sort of family tree showing who introduced us to the site. If I introduced you, maybe you could stop by and give me a mention?
