Flat Tyre Blues

Today I put a nice hole in the front left tyre of my dad's car. I hit a little sticking out bit of curb on our road earlier, and could hear the "hsssssss" as it deflated. Not nice. This is the deputy tyre dutifully standing in while the injured party gets fixed/replaced.

Does this count as damaging a car? If so it's my first time... I've never put so much as a scratch on my or my parents cars until now, even when I was learning.
