South Gare, Redcar

A sheltered spot on a very windy peninsula.  The wind was so strong when I first stopped the car to look at the kite surfers I was almost blown over.

I took quite a lot of images using my phone this morning.  It really felt like it was too windy to use my camera.  the light wasn't great either, though the image above, taken with PhotoPro on my phone turned out quite well.

I had a walk down into Paddy’s Hole but couldn’t get excited by the boats today, instead I took this view of the open gates near the cafe.  I’ve never seen them open in this way before.  So a PhotoSplit image recoloured in Mextures.  I have another if the derelict steelworks I might share later.
