The long road home.

We said our goodbyes to the family who have been at yesterday’s funeral. It has been good to see all the nephews and nieces and their families. I keep in touch with them on line, but wonder when I will actually see them again. They are such a loving caring family, it has been a treat to be with them.
The sun was shining as we made our way back home. Usually the road past Stonehenge is slow going but it wasn’t too bad today. We could see the tourists viewing it from a safe distance. However often I see it, I am always amazed at this very ancient monument. It was a five hour trip, but we did stop for lunch.
