I went to visit Mary Doll today and was given my usual weekly update of gossip.

No one has died this week which is a relief and Victor hasn’t seriously annoyed her (unusual) but…

Her best mate’s sister kicked off at her own daughter’s birthday. She’s been on the edge since her husband had a stroke. It was TERRIBLE. Ruined the night. Her best mate also got involved which didn’t help. The daughter ended up telling her mother to get out. The daughter’s new husband COULDN’T believe it. He’d heard that his new MIL could be like that with a drink but it was the first time he had ACTUALLY seen it.

I needed a lie down after that. The real housewives of Mary Doll!
