Who Needs a Footbridge?

The River Dove ford - no, not that River Dove, this is the mid Suffolk version which eventually feeds into the River Waveney - taken on my trail run this morning. No chance to splash through the ford today - not that there ever is in summer, though our springer likes to have a quick dip in the river. He wasn't with me today, luckily, or he'd have been very disappointed as the water level was right down, apparently stagnant, the surface covered with bright green duckweed, & he wouldn't have been allowed in!

An unusual day for a trail run, this one was for EACH, the local children's hospice charity. A beautiful day, with a pleasant breeze, though still a bit warm for S to run, so P walked him on the shorter route.
