Penchant for white

We were all invited for coffee at J&R’s daughter’s in-laws at 11 a.m. Mr B and young R had a riot soaking each other with giant water-pistols. Did a tour of the house. Major works to provide a granny annexe, ‘Granny’ is handing over the main house to her daughter and family. Spotted this washing line of white socks, a fine pic for Silly Saturday (which was officially on the 6th August).

J&R departed at 3, to be in South London for sister-in-law’s big birthday event late afternoon. Stopped at a gift shop in Southbourne on way back for gift wrap.

Stripped the guest beds, then took a well earned rest. I’m not used to being on the go all day. Shall relish a couple of free days now.
