Windfalls

Looking out of the bedroom window this morning we saw this beautiful roe deer having a quiet drink in the water pool we have set up for thirsty animals and birds who needed a drink in the heat. 

Moving on she went over to the apple tree and started munching quietly on the windfalls as I shot downstairs for the camera just managing to get a few shots before she trotted off. I had inadvertently left one of the doors open and Tilly was nonchalantly meandering in her direction. Great to see though and glad the water has made a difference to most of our wildlife.
