Breakfast at the beach

I made a flask of coffee and filled a bottle of water, packed the collapsible water bowl, and a couple of mugs and we set off for St George de Didonne, stopping of at the boulangerie for a few croissants on the way.
We walked along the boardwalk and stopped near the lighthouse. It was very busy and a few people made a fuss of Elvis before it was time to leave, but we wanted to leave before it was heaving with people and timed it just right.
Shame the sky and the sea were so grey, but it was quite warm, and there were still lots of people on holiday.
