Mum’s haircut!

I took dad to the Alzheimer’s day centre and then took mum to have her hair cut. All went well until I left to pick dad up in the afternoon, and the hospital rang mum to postpone her procedure!
I’ve flown over and hired a car at vast expense (August prices!) only to find the reason I came is no more! It’s now scheduled for a date in September, but will it be cancelled then as well? Meanwhile mum remains in pain, but has been feeling better, so maybe it’s the power of a good haircut!
