Day 233/22. A little ominous perhaps.....

Almost looking like something from the future this is the control room building of Fawley Power Station. The power station ceased use some years ago, the chimney and turbine hall were demolished last year. I'm hoping this stays and is given a use. It would make a great resaurant location.
The building was used in a Mission Impossible film, but its perhaps most famous use was as the World Control Centre in the 1975 movie 'Rollerball'.
The odd object in front is a huge wind turbine blade, these are finished on the site.
