Leopard Lacewing
Another one of our visitor favourites at the Butterfly House - the Leopard Lacewing - a very colourful butterfly.
We also have some new pupae which are just starting to emerge to great excitement as there are some new species we've not seen this season :)
One of the sparkly pupae has emerged but nobody knows which butterfly it is as we can't find any new ones. I have put an image in extras if anyone would like to take a guess at what it might be. I did some googling and think it could be either a Common crow or one of the spotted tiger clearwings. I hope we find out before I go on holiday at the end of the week.
Spent the afternoon watching our fabulous men's gymnasts win more medals at the Europeans - awesome work with 5 more medals added to the tally today - 2 Gold and 3 Bronze.
