Bombus Lucorum (I think!)

Busy day spent outside mostly!

Geriatric Boy and I went for a 3 mile walk this morning on a different route at the North Third and he did well considering there were a lot of wee hills and uneven ground.  He's been on top form since his recovery form the sickness and diarrhea last week!

Then my folks popped through.  My dad has concurred with the Tamron lens - it's not all it is cracked up to be.  So, we are on the lookout for another Nikon 85 or 105 macro.

We went for lunch to a wee Cafe in Doune then headed out to Drummond Castle Gardens.  I have never seen so many different types of bees in one place!  And quite a number of Peacock butterflies and a few Red Admirals - see extra.

Allanwater Cafe for dinner on the way home then feet up processing the shots!
