Messaya
It never fails, anytime I travel somewhere it makes front page news... No idea why. It just always happens.
It's been such an incredible weekend. Hoping that the situation here will calm down enough that I can get into the refugee camp this week. I will know after tomorrow morning, but had an incredible conversation with a table full of Lebanese people today about the plight of child soldiers in the world. I am sure that was the topic of conversation they wanted to have when they went for lunch at the Vineyard.
Sunday brunch has become one of my favorite parts of life in Berlin, I have to say that I had a bit of a tug today for my friends there and Sunday brunch today as we ate and I thought about how much they would have loved it. I also realized that every time I talk about home, I am talking about Berlin.
So, here is a pic of the empty bottles at the Sunday brunch at Massaya Vineyards in the Bekaa. How gorgeous are those blue bottles? Arak, SICK, liquorice flavor. SICK! But the bottles were beautiful.
Here are a few pictures from the last few days.
