On the road

Got the metro to the airport and picked up the hire car. Unfortunately took a wrong turn immediately leaving the airport and ended up back in Valencia! Eventually found our way to the Alicante road with great relief.
Stopped at a service station halfway enroute to Benissa - so much nicer and quieter than Tebay and the likes on the M6 at home.
Big queue leaving the autopista at benissa and still a few hours until we could check in to our accommodation in Moraira, so contacted our friends and Neil came to meet us in Benissa and we followed him to their farmhouse.
