Postcard from Valencia

Friday 
We discovered there was a tram stop not far from our hotel, so caught a tram to the beach in the morning. It was busy already and the sea looked inviting, with some big waves. We had a paddle, and not surprisingly, the sea was much warmer than it had been at silversands the previous week.
We wandered around the marina, stopped for a coffee and then caught a tram back to the hotel. Spent a couple of hours at the hotel pool, then caught the tram to pont de fusta and had another wander around the old town. Dinner at a lovely Italian restaurant, la Taratzza, just off the placa de la Virgen, then back to the hotel to pack ready for our journey along the coast on Saturday.
