Autumnal tones

Wheeling around the garden yesterday and, although warm i could definitely feel a change. That feeling compounded by the number of seeding flowers completing their cycle of life.
The self heal, my favourite of this trio, and by far the smallest. Shot only because i was re-shooting the oriental poppy seed head. I and my camera and subject(s) were under umbrellas, shielding us from both rain & light. I had shot the poppy and whilst the camera was on a tripod, i scanned around for anything else. It was only then i shot this photo above.
The  third in this trio is Garlic chive, a late summer flower and an insect banquet
