Robin

I did have a few peanuts with me when I went to Pollok this morning. Even although it was raining (lightly) I was determined to have a bit of a walk.

I stopped by the wee pond, which is almost totally covered with waterlily leaves, and put a few nuts on the wall and a few on one of the gunnera leaves. I didn't have to wait long before a Coal Tit and a Blue Tit appeared on the branches of a nearby tree but they were too quick for me.

Then Mr Robin flew in, picked up a nut and then flew up into the tree. It was just a bit dark so fill in flash helped a bit.

It has been very damp all day keeping the garden well watered.
