Autumnal tones

The temperature doesn't feel autumnal but the leaves are gradually clothing themselves in wonderful autumn shades.
Many of the leaves, like those on the horse chestnut, are well out of reach of both my hand and my camera so I have to search for something that is not at the top of the leafy canopy in Pollok.

These leaves belong to Corylus Avellana .... the common Hazel which belongs to the Birch family.
