Platanos Beach (evening)

And here is the view from Platanos Beach at the other end of the day.

As we're two hours ahead of UK time, the working day finishes around seven o'clock, which leaves plenty of time for the afternoon swim before the sun goes down around eight-fifteen.

Then it's home for a shower, and off out to dinner sometime after nine o'clock, which is later than we'd normally go out to eat at home, but people here - and, presumably, elsewhere in Greece - don't go out until then. In fact, everything shuts down in the afternoon, so the 'afternoon' here appears to mean between five and nine o'clock!
