Charlecote Park (widwed240822)

A view of Charlecote across the croquet lawn.  The original house is from the Tudor period but with extensive Victorian modifications.

We were there so Ariadne could try the Tudor games trail - good fun but I think she enjoyed seeing the deer with their new antlers more.
At one point she was sheltering me from the rain as I photographed the buck in the extra and explained what was happening to them.
The extra of Ariadne is from my mobile, a Motorola G10 in portrait mode.

Edit: we've just had an explanation of the inner planets of the solar system beginning with "imagine my big toe is the sun, and these guys are Mercury, Venus" .... and so-on :-)
