Golden Shrimp Plant

Showery day but clearing later

As the weather had improved we went to visit the Dundee Botanical Gardens. We had a very pleasant walk around the grounds where there was a lot of evidence of the damage done to the trees by the storms earlier in the year. There were new developments which look very interesting. We also visited the Hot House with its array of exotic plants one of which was this Golden Shrimp Plant which is from Peru.

We rounded off the visit with Tea and Cake in the Garden Cafe.
