Worthing: Pier People

We set off from Chichester first thing, and had an explore along the south coast, stopping at Bognor Regis, Littlehampton, then Worthing. We visited three piers and two cafes (inc. revisiting the Heatherwick-designed East Beach Cafe at Littlehampton); the weather was pretty shoddy, but there is a certain appealing aesthetic to drizzle and rain at the seaside, and it certainly made for moody seascapes.
Worthing's pier was by far the most impressive, with Bognor Regis's seeming like it might have been less sad in previous years, and Littlehampton's being more of a sitting platform than an attraction.
