Chatham Historic Dockyard: HMS Gannet

More and less ship-shape in large
Back blip

Im and I returned to Chatham Historic Dockyard (the entrance fee covers re-entry for a year, even if you'd only anticipated a single visit); we saw The Ropery and toured HMS Ocelot last time, so boarded the HMS Cavalier (1944 Destroyer) and HMS Gannet (1878 Sloop-of-war) this time, and explored two of the sheds (the "Big Shed" houses, um, big things, and the RNLI shed explores RNLI history and vessels).
It was a very sunny day, and we had a very jolly time (despite the irritated grumblings of my inner pacifist).

Others here (or right from Blue crane against blue building)
