Glen Coe
Absolutely classic day up in Glen Coe ...
... weather wasn't that great when we started out on our walk, but the forecast was correct and by 12noon the skies were completely clear!
Managed to do all 4 X 3,000ft peaks that make up Buachaille Etive Mor - an eight-and-a-half hour expedition that saw my walking partner 'M' finish off all the Glen Coe munros :-))
Main snap shows the view looking back on Stob na Doire, with Stob Dearg behind, taken as we made our way to peak number three!; 1st extra is at the top of Stob Dearg, with the lochans of Rannoch Moor just visible in the distance; 2nd extra the view towards peaks three and four - Stob Coire Altrium & Stob na Broige; 3rd extra and we're on top of peak four, Stob na Broige, and had to have a shot of celebratory whisky (which you might be able to make out!) to mark the end of 'M''s Glen Coe munros; 4th extra shows our descent route through the Lairig Gartain - the early evening weather/light was just supberb.
A day we'll remember for a long, long time.
