Rotting tree

On our walk today we came across this tree. I really liked the colours.

We took the bus to Iffigenalp this morning ( which was an experience in itself) then hiked up to the Oberlaubhorn (1999m) then on to Rezliberg ( ice cream time) then back along the Simme river. The waterfalls were spectacular but we were unable to cross Barbara bridge as there was so much water. The reason that there is so much water in the river at the moment is because the authorities have dug artificial channels in the lake on the Plaine Morte glacier to help to relieve the glacial water pressure in the lake.

Extras show more waterfall shots and a bike that I found very interesting.
