Steel Band

After Vonney had set off for her weekend, A & I took Albert for a walk over to scott hall playing fields where We picked some blackberries. We had gloves and secateurs but in reality we needed gauntlets and loppers to reach the plumpest berries.

We heard reggae tunes played on steel drums so we went to investigate and found this trio outdoors at the local daycare centre. The bass player sang favourites and the pans sounded great; they may have been playing for the centre users or rehearsing their set for the forthcoming Chapeltown Carnival on BH Monday.
