Scotney Castle Blipmeet

Notwithstanding the rain when we arrived J and I had a wonderful day with blippers BobKennedyPhoto, Hevkk and Dawn P (and not forgetting spaniel Jak) at Scotney Castle. Great to share the day in this delightful place - amongst many other things I appreciated the camera chat and learnt a lot! 
Not many people there - it would have been easy to be put off by the weather - which - lucky us - turned warm and sunny in the afternoon.
Our third moated castle in Kent - there seems to be a theme there, along with another sighting of the hummingbird hawk moth just as we were leaving - starting to feel like a totem - which capped off a great day.
Just wanting to acknowledge the blip community for facilitating a friendly, encouraging and informative day, and a big thank you to the lovely blippers we met today.
