A great restoration job done by The Repair Shop

This rather fine house was formerly the Bailie Nicol Jarvey Hotel, named after a character in Walter Scott’s Rob Roy.
The once famous hotel was situated just after the Dukes Pass junction with Main Street, Aberfoyle.

The original wooden sign was found and taken to The Repair Shop where it was given a new lease of life. In June it came home and there was a great unveiling. I’m looking forward to learning much more about the history when the programme is on TV probably in the next series.
