Bowral backyards
Originally the highest position in a country town was generally occupied by the churches. However this higher ground in Bowral is home to a supermarket. It looks out over what were once private houses lining the main streets. The houses have all been converted into shops and other business premises, and their gardens are largely used as car parks and repositories for rubbish bins. I’m not sure that was a change for the better.
Spot the large black bird. There are always some of these around the supermarket. They might be rooks. Or crows. Or ravens.
