Can Nationalisation Save Britain?, London

Needless to say after the new energy price cap and the the literal shit flowing from the privatised water companies, state control, and responsibility, has to come back. I spotted this forlorn dog and the boots of it's owner while out getting my lunch and just thought it summed up the predicament we're going to be in and a solution, that in at least some cases, really could be the answer if done right. This zombie Government are asleep at the wheel and Boris won't intervene while living the high life at Chequers for his last couple of weeks. As for this unbelievably long and pointless leadership contest the less said about that the better!
My day started well today with a lovely quiet train into work. I don't usually take any shots on the way into work as I'm often in a rush or already thinking about deadlines but today I saw the first extra shot, "A Crosstown Cordoned Off Corgi", at the Nova complex just a short distance from Victoria Station. I liked the surrealness of the giant corgi in the middle of the concourse!
The second extra, "A Flood In Green Park", shows how the torrential downpours we had a couple of days ago just don't drain away because the ground is so hard and dry.
I was very busy at work and mightily relieved to get home and meet my brother off the train. On a Friday we greet each other with a huge smile (it's the weekend at last) and then head straight to the pub for a pint. Perfect way to end a hard week.
