Saturday: Lunch with a Different View
We were up by 7am and greeted by a beautiful morning.
MrD went to Benllech for some fruit and veg then he finished sanding the window frames of the large shed, before it became too hot.
Late afternoon he watched Liverpool beat Bournemouth 9 - 0 then he watched some rugby, New Zealand being beaten by Argentina.
I spent an hour or so late morning trying to help unravel a family conundrum for a DNA cousin in Australia, it’s very complicated and I doubt we’ll ever find her missing father even though I appear to be on that side of her tree … :-((
Sat outside for lunch on the Lion Bench - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2788109 - the sun is no longer blinding me at lunchtime and the birds, butterflies and bees are perfect companions!
Watched little groups of young swallows, I think the adults have left for their long journey to Africa.
Made pakoras to go with our curries for tea this evening - shame I don’t have homegrown courgette … :-((
Bank Holiday Saturday, hope it’s been fun for you! xxxx xxx xx
Stay safe & healthy & happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
