Very sad

The saddest sight in Budapest has to be the Jewish memorial where brass shoes of all sizes and styles are lined along the edge of the river. This marks the spot where Jews were lined up, told to remove their shoes, then shot with the bodies falling into the river and drifting away. The shoes would later be sold.
Horrific!
We are now sailing to Vienna. Still loving the cruise.
