Going up?

We sailed overnight towards Vienna but unfortunately slept through one of the largest locks on the river. Later in the morning we were lucky enough to experience the next lock. It was amazing how quickly the water rose and the ship was very soon rising from the bottom of the lock and then towering over the walls. The lock was a new experience for many of us and the technology was greatly admired.
After lunch we had a sightseeing bus tour followed by a walking tour in the city. We covered a lot of new ground and saw many things we missed last week.
Sadly we will not be able to see the Spanish dancing horses as there is no performance or practice scheduled for it time here.
Following another delicious dinner we had a drink and dancing in the lounge.
