Salad

H and I went to see a reading and signing at the Book Festival this morning. Julian Clary! The illustrator was also there and they drew live pictures and took loads of questions. One balloon dog later and we were on our way home.

I got diverted though and splurged slightly on some work clothes - I can't go on wearing my jeans to work forever - but I was fairly careful with my spending as goodness knows what will happen in the next few months.

Did some (not much) gardening in the afternoon. Need to pack this evening as I have two days away coming up.
