Typical night train activity...

Today was a big travel day with another night train on our way to Yangshuo. The scene depicted here is now a familiar picture to me on many a train ride with Sol and co. Frank taught Sol the much loved Chinese card game translated as "Beat the Landlord" this game is played throughout China and of course you have to have a little flutter with it. The Chinese love a gamble and everywhere we went in China there were little groups of guys young and old huddling around a good old fashioned card game or this other sort of domino game called "Mahjong".

The random guy on Sol's shoulder wasn't actually part of our group and belonged to another carriage on the train but couldn't resist involving himself in Sol's card hand, much to Sol's delight!
