Spotted in a front garden I walked past

A hop plant, growing on the stump of a sweet chestnut. I haven’t seen hops for years, and certainly not in the south west. Very attractive flowers I think.
My friend is still visiting - we did some work on my allotment and our reward was rather a lot of raspberries- with double cream. I have more this year than ever before. I always pick them over very carefully to make sure there are no critters in my bowl as well. My friend A doesn’t bother:)
