Hen day

Today I was responsible for my friend’s 3 hens. Got over nice and early to let them out. They had a good run around in the whole garden as I got their feed and collected the eggs. When I left I put them in their fox proof run for the day, to keep them safe til K gets back. They’re really adorable birds I think, and they seem to enjoy their new life of freedom.
Went for a walk at Stanton Drew - a huge Neolithic stone circle. The circle is bigger than Stonehenge, but the stones are smaller. And a peaceful walk by the river there. Beautiful countryside even with grey clouds.
