Out for a gander

Another of these days where blip options fall over themselves to be posted.

We were returning a family dog to Lancaster, setting off after church. As we sat at broken temporary lights on the A702 there was a lovely view of the heather covered hills with thistles and cattle in the foreground.

On our return journey the Pentlands were set against a beautiful sky as the sun set - and merits an extra.

But the blip is of the geese at Annandale Water services on the A74(M). The geese are often to be found wandering around but this is the first time I have had to stop to let them cross the road. And with goslings too.
