My mate

I didn't expect to do a blip today. The weather has been fine and I started in the garden at 8am. I really am now into playing catchup so it was get out there while the opportunity arose. Down in the orchard I am making a wildlife arena and hide. Todays job was lay the paving slabs torn up from one of the patio's last year to make a stepping path through the trees and decant one compost bin into the final composter before using it as a mulch later in the year. Its the most strenuous exercise I have so far had this year but I was sung too all morning by this blackbird which was sat in one of my Rowan trees. I called it quits at 2pm and am now off for a hot shower.
