You can just see one of my daughters.and Jim and somewhere out there is lucy . It was solid cars to the original place we were to rescue them . I parked up just off the main blocked up roads and Jim guided them in via GPS , I must say that tracking people is ever so clever on phones . They ended up walking a couple of miles and Jim walked towards them .. I hear some of those other parents were still there at 2am which is what time we got home .
They absolutely STANK .
A couple of people I know said we were mad going to fetch them and that they make them come back the next day on the train. Well that’s great for them , I don’t appreciate being told how and when to do things for my girls , basically yesterday I told them to mind their own… I actually don’t happen to agree with THEIR parenting style but I’ll keep it to myself . My dad used to do this for me and my brother, if he couldn’t get us he would say ‘get a taxi and mum will pay when you get home ‘ … we used to reverse the charges on the pay phones … ahhhhh such fun , not sure anyone outside of the UK did this ? I expect so but I’ve never actually asked anyone . It’s not really something I’ve ever thought to randomly say.
