Freesias

Monday morning - work for me, hubby helping my uncle with his iPhone, household chores.  We had a bowl of soup and an apple for lunch, then daughter and son-in-law popped in for a while.  The afternoon passed by quickly, so we went for a short walk before popping in to spend some time with Mum.

As we walked by St Heliers School the scent of freesias made us stop.  I took a photo of one flower with some ants bustling around the bottom of the stamen.

There are 1,653 new community cases today, and the seven-day rolling average is 2,425 compared to 3,655 last Monday. The number of people in hospital is 341, including 3 in ICU. The seven-day rolling average increase in total deaths attributable to Covid-19 is 6 and 1,869 deaths have been confirmed as either directly attributed to Covid, or with Covid as a contributing factor.
