Yesterday Once More
It's another train blip, my fourth in a row, and taken from almost exactly the same spot as yesterday's blip. But there the similarity ends. Yesterday was the 7F; today I managed to get the visiting engine, the ex-Great Western 2-8-0T No 4270. Yesterday was bright, warm and sunny; today was overcast with occasional light rain, and decidedly cooler. But there are advantages to that; the steam from the engine is much more visible on a day like today; in both shots the engines are working hard to climb a steep hill but in this one it looks more obvious. It's the last day of working for this engine this weekend; I think it will be running again for the 'Forties Weekend' in September, and then it will head back home again.
