Damson blossom

Fingers crossed for a better crop of damsons this year. I was hoping there would be a bee hanging about too, but no such luck.

Hurrah for the EU for making the right decision re banning pesticides injected into crop seeds for a couple of years. At least that gives the scientists a couple of years to work on whether they are poisoning the bees and hopefully find alternatives. Fingers crossed that bee populations will recover soon too. Imagine how boring life would be without the fruits of their labours.
