Ardea cinerea

I mentioned the other day that I passed a heron at Shottermill Ponds and he was there again today when I drove past on my way home from work so I parked down the road to the side, crept around the side of the ponds and took a few shots. I only had my handbag camera with me but now I know he's a regular hanger-out there I will be stalking him with my DSLR. I also noticed that there are now some cute little goslings there so they won't be getting any peace either.
