Woodland Collage

It was so overcast and rainy this morning after Maggie went off to nursery that Geordie and I set off for the shelter of the wood at Shell Bay.
I don’t like driving the car when it’s so noisy, because it attracts so much attention. I almost feel like putting a sign on it saying, “sorry”.

We had a good walk, meeting only one person and her dog. We saw no deer and very few birds, save for a couple of wrens and some magpies.
The afternoon has just been about pottering and doing odd jobs around the house.
Now we’re off to take the car to the garage and walk back home.
